A little Mama Shrooms news
gemma OgstonShare
I wanted to share a few little updates from behind the scenes at Mama Shrooms, because there’s been a lot quietly unfolding.
I’m currently working with my interns at Queen Margaret University, and it’s been such a joy seeing ideas come to life together. We’ve got some exciting things in the works, and I’m really looking forward to sharing more soon.
We’re also getting ready to begin clinical trials on my products which honestly feels like a huge moment. It’s something I’ve hoped for since the early days, and it’s very special to see it becoming real.
Recently, I visited the supplement factory where Mama Shrooms is made. It’s a family-run business, and I’ve worked with the same team since I launched. Walking through the process again reminded me just how much care and intention goes into every batch, and how grateful I am for the people behind it all.
I’ll also be heading up to Edinburgh for University Mental Health Day, where I’ll be hosting an event with students. It feels meaningful to be part of conversations around wellbeing, especially in spaces where support really matters.
Transparency has always been important to me, which is why you can now view our Certificates of Analysis (COAs) directly on the website. You’ll find details like beta-glucan levels and heavy metal testing there so you can see exactly what’s in your mushrooms and feel confident in what you’re choosing.
And finally thank you for being here.
January wasn’t the easiest (it rarely is when you’re growing something from the ground up), but we’re learning as we go and moving forward with care. Your support truly means more than I can say.
With warmth,
Gem
